WATCH: Are the Boston Celtics dealing with chemistry issues?

Boston’s rough start to the season has shown the nut the need to crack is proving harder than expected.

Fans of the Boston Celtics had high expectations of new head coach Ime Udoka, and truth be told they may have been expecting a little too much too soon for the team’s new top dog when it comes to holding the clipboard.

After most of a decade under former head coach and current President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens, it seemed as if there was a bit of fatigue on both his and his team’s part in terms of his coaching style, and the general assumption was that a greater degree of buy-in from all involved would come with the hire of a new coach.

And while that buy-in does seem to be a thing, it is now clearer that it was not just a coaching problem that the Celtics have been struggling with this and last season, but some structural, health, and even perhaps chemistry issues in need of being contended with as well.

Watch the video above as USA TODAY Sports’ own Jeff Zillgit gets you up to speed with what we have learned about this team and its coach so far.
