Watch: Andrew Wiggins looks impressive during shooting drill at offseason workout

At another offseason training session in Los Angeles, Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins looked locked-in during a shooting drill.

With the NBA draft under a week away, Golden State’s highly-anticipated No. 2 overall pick is taking center stage in the Bay Area.

Yet, while Bob Myers and Steve Kerr put the finishing touches on their big board, the Warriors new forward is in the gym working on his game. During the final stages of Golden State’s lengthy offseason, Andrew Wiggins has been spotted on the court for a bevy of different drills.

On social media, videos have surfaced of Wiggins working on his handles, layups and long-distance shooting. The former Rookie of the Year has also competed against other NBA players in a 1-on-1 drill.

After showing off a highlight-reel dunk earlier in the week, Wiggins was back in the gym working on his jumper. On Thursday, Wiggins Enterprise shared a video of the 25-year-old going through a shooting drill in Los Angeles.

During his debut campaign in Golden State, Wiggins notched 19.4 points on 45.7% shooting from the field with 4.6 boards, 3.6 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.3 steals per contest.

Although Wiggins only played in 12 games after landing in the Bay Area at the trade deadline, the former top-overall pick will play a significant factor in Golden State’s plan to return to the top of the Western Conference.
