Alabama sophomore linebacker Will Anderson jr. has been the star of the Crimson Tide defense in 2021. He has been a leader of his fellow players, and difference-maker on the field. Today, Anderson spoke with media members about the Crimson Tide’s mentality entering the College Football Playoff national championship game against Georgia.
Despite entering the College Football Playoff as the top-ranked team, Alabama is still the underdog in the championship game. Anderson states that the whole team has felt like the underdog throughout the entire season.
Only one loss on the season, Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide will look to transform a ‘down year’ into national championship No. 19 for the program.
