A dream has officially become a reality.
Growing up in metro Detroit, Aidan Hutchinson hoped that the team he would end up playing for would be his hometown Lions, even if that meant him falling a spot, as Detroit had the No. 2 overall pick.
That just happens to be how everything shook out.
With Travon Walker from Georgia getting selected No. 1 overall, the Lions wasted no time getting their pick in, selecting Hutchinson with the subsequent pick. In Las Vegas with his family, Hutchinson got the call backstage, and Michigan football has the video of the moment that he picked up the phone.
