The Arizona Cardinals struck first against the San Francisco 49ers with a James Conner touchdown run following an impressive 75-yard scoring drive to open the game on Sunday. Despite quickly trailing by seven, it didn’t take long for the 49ers to get on the board.
After putting together a long scoring drive of their own, Deebo Samuel walked into the end zone for an easy score against the Cardinals. Purdy found Samuel all alone for a 12-yard touchdown pass to even the game at 7-7 in the first quarter.
