Washington to activate WR Steven Sims from IR; available to play Sunday

After a few successful days of practice, Washington has activated Steven Sims from the IR, making him available to play on Sunday.

The Washington Football Team has activated WR Steven Sims Jr. from the Injured Reserve, making him available to play in the Week 9 rematch vs. the New York Giants on Sunday.

Sims return is a huge help to Washington’s depth at the WR position, where they will now have both of their top-two options set to go, with Terry McLaurin being the main attraction. Sims was not available the last time these two teams played when Washington lost 20-19.

The addition of Sims is also key, considering that WR Dontrelle Inman is doubtful to play on Sunday, according to the injury report. With Isaiah Wright and Antonio Gandy-Golden also banged up, Sims’ presence on the offense is much-needed.
