The Buffalo Bills are at least doing a little bit of research on tight ends at the 2022 NFL scouting combine.
A name to keep in mind is Washington’s Cade Otton.
This week in Indianapolis the NFL’s annual combine event is taking place. There, prospects, including Otton, answer questions via press conference and he revealed that he had an informal meeting with the Bills.
Among those reporting the news was WIVB-TV in Buffalo:

In 31 career games over four seasons, Otton notched 91 catches for 1,026 yards and nine touchdowns.
According to The Draft Network, Otton is versatile weapon that can lineup in multiple spots in an offense. It’s also noted that Otton is a “very good in-line blocker,” which is something the Bills lack at the position behind No.1 tight end Dawson Knox.
Currently Pro Football Focus projects Otton as a fifth-round pick.
An informal meeting with the Bills means Otton likely chatted with Buffalo’s positional coaches at the combine.
