If you’re wondering how in the world a guy with Jaret Patterson’s ridiculous college production could go undrafted, I’m afraid I don’t have any good answers for you.
Patterson racked up video game-type stats at the University of Buffalo, but the undersized runner went through all seven rounds of the 2021 NFL draft without hearing his name called.
He wasted little time exposing that mistake, as Patterson made plenty of big plays for the Washington Football Team throughout his first NFL preseason.
Washington already has another dynamic, do-it-all back in Antonio Gibson, but it looks like they stole another one from this year’s draft class without even spending a pick on him.
