Washington offers 2025 3-star ATH Deji Ajose

The Washington Huskies offered an intriguing three-star athlete from Oakland with upside at multiple positions.

The Washington Huskies have continued to hit the recruiting trail hard and while most of their top prospects in the 2025 class have become clear, Jedd Fisch’s coaching staff is still scouring the country for talent.

Wide receivers coach Kevin Cummings and running backs coach Scottie Graham extended an offer to three-star athlete Deji Ajose on Wednesday, a product of Bishop O’Dowd High School in Oakland, California.

Ajose is ranked as the nation’s No. 33 athlete and No. 529 overall player by the 247Sports Composite holds 7 offers and has official visits set to California, Utah, and Oregon State in June.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound athlete has a promising frame and is an impressive athlete with a high football IQ on both sides of the ball. While 247Sports’ Greg Biggins views Ajose as a defensive prospect at the college level, judging by the coaches who extended his offer, the Huskies like him on offense.

“Ajose is an intriguing player with the ability to play multiple positions at the next level,” Biggins said. “He was very productive at receiver, is explosive in the return game, but his upside is probably highest on the defensive side of the ball.”

“He played linebacker in a part time roll but really flashed, showing a burst off the edge and some physicality in his game. Safety could be his ultimate meal ticket and we really like his size, athleticism and toughness. He runs well and has the track background we love in a skill player.”
