The Buffalo Bills had a mistake-filled late loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 10.
The 24-22 final was aided by several factors, and one of the biggest was a penalty against Bills cornerback Taron Johnson.
Johnson was called for a pass interference penalty in the dying seconds. Eventually, Buffalo looked to be bailed out when Broncos kicker Wil Lutz missed wide right — until a penalty for 12 men on the field gave Denver another chance at the field goal. This time, Lutz did not miss.
Back to the PI. Was it a penalty?
Well … you be the judge.
Johnson didn’t exactly turn his head around, and it’s clear Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton was simply just looking for a penalty, which he got. Ultimately, it was a tough call to be made.
