Despite coming off a win over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night, the Golden State Warriors lost their starting point guard to injury. Two-time Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry is expected to miss time after suffering a lower leg injury on Saturday night.
Monday’s contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder will mark the first game of Curry’s latest injury absence. Without Curry, Jordan Poole is expected to slide back into the starting lineup.
The Warriors recently secured a road win over the Thunder at the end of January, 128-120. However, Curry led the way a game-high 38 points. To secure a second victory over the Thunder, the Warriors will have to slow down All-Star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The Kentucky product notched 31 points and seven assists in his recent matchup with the Warriors.
Before the Warriors host the Thunder, here’s everything you need to know for Monday night’s contest, including how to watch.
