Although he finished as just a finalist for the NBA Most Valuable Player, Steph Curry still earned multiple accolades from his run with the Golden State Warriors during the 2020-21 campaign.
Along with the scoring title and a spot on the All-NBA First Team, the seven-time All-Star added another award to his resume. On Saturday night, Curry was awarded the ESPY for “Best NBA Player.”

Curry was voted for the award over Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic and Phoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul rounded out the ballot for the ESPY award.
Following the announcement of the award, Curry thanked the fans that voted for him with a video message.

In 2015, Curry earned the ESPY award for Best Male Athlete and Best NBA Player.
During the 2020-21 season, The 11-year veteran averaged 32 points per game on 48.2% shooting from the field. Curry led the league with 5.3 made 3-pointers per game on 42.1% shooting from beyond the arc. Curry added 5.8 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals per contest in 63 games.
