Golden State Warriors rookie Moses Moody has been placed in the NBA’s health and safety protocols, becoming the latest player affected by the current coronavirus outbreak.
Moody is the fourth Warriors player currently out because of the health and safety protocol, joining Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole and Damion Lee. With Moody down, the Warriors are expected to have 11 players available versus the Phoenix Suns on Christmas Day.
Players and coaches entered into the health and safety protocol are required to spend a minimum of 10 days in isolation. However, they can be cleared to play sooner if they return two consecutive negative PCR tests taken at least 24 hours apart.

Moody has logged 22 appearances with the Warriors this season, averaging 1.8 points per game. He has spent part of the season with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the NBA G League and is posting 24 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.6 steals, 1.4 assists and one block in five games.
The NBA is in the middle of its most challenging stretch of the season as players and teams alike battle the latest wave within the coronavirus pandemic. During the month of December, more than 100 players have entered the health and safety protocol.
