Klay Thompson spent 13 incredible seasons with the Golden State Warriors. He and Stephen Curry formed a historic backcourt duo and they morphed into the two best shooters the game of basketball has ever seen while delivering four championships to the Warriors.
However, it appears that Thompson’s time in The Bay has ended. He and the Warriors have begun to move in different directions. The veteran sharpshooter averaged 17.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists while shooting 38.7% from deep.
Thompson is now set to meet with the Philadelphia 76ers, the Dallas Mavericks, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Los Angeles Clippers. The Warriors will look to work out a sign-and-trade for Thompson.
Klay Thompson plans to have discussions with the Mavericks, Lakers, Clippers and 76ers in the opening hours of free agency, sources tell ESPN.

One has to wonder what Thompson could do for the Sixers. Obviously, he has lost a step over time, but he is still a deadly shooter. He is somebody who would help space the floor and take a lot of pressure off Joel Embiid on that end of the floor.
