After starting their road back-to-back with an ugly loss to the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, the Golden State Warriors will have to move on quickly before meeting the Washington Wizards in the nation’s capital on Monday afternoon. 

With the NBA running a full slate of hoops starting as early as 10 a.m. PT to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on MLK day, the Warriors are set to meet the Warriors for their second straight matinee at noon PT on Monday. 

In Golden State’s loss in Chicago on Sunday, Klay Thompson led the team with 26 points on 9-of-21 shooting from the field with eight made triples in 33 minutes. The Warriors are now 1-4 in their last five games. 

Matching the Warriors, the Wizards are 1-4 over their last five games heading into Monday’s contest. Despite the Wizards’ recent loss to the New York Knicks, Kyle Kuzma notched a game-high 40 points on 14-of-27 shooting from the field.
