On Tuesday, the Golden State Warriors will meet the Sacramento Kings in the finale of group play for the in-season tournament. To have a chance at punching their ticket to the next round of the tournament, the Warriors will need a win on Tuesday in Sacramento over the Kings.
The Kings are in first place in the West’s Group C with a 3-0 record while the Warriors are tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves at 2-1.
A win for the Warriors on Tuesday against the Kings would, at the least, create a three-way tie in the group and invoke a point differential tiebreaker. A win against the Kings and a Timberwolves’ loss would clinch a spot in the next round for the Warriors.
