Before the Golden State Warriors’ 2021-22 regular season comes to an end, rookie wing Moses Moody will head to Santa Cruz for an appearance in the G League.
On Monday, the Warriors assigned Moody to the G League Santa Cruz Warriors. Following Sunday’s contest against the Kings, the Warriors will get three days off before meeting the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday at San Francisco’s Chase Center.

While the Warriors don’t have a game on the schedule, the Sea Dubs are set to start the G League playoffs on Tuesday. The No. 6 seeded Warriors will play the No. 3 seed South Bay Lakers in a single-elimination G League postseason tournament.
Moody will give the Sea Dubs a boost in the first round of the tournament on Tuesday. In nine games with Santa Cruz, Moody has impressed with 27.4 points on 52.3% shooting from the floor with 6.2 boards and 1.7 assists in 32.3 minutes per contest.
Through 50 games in his rookie campaign with the Warriors, Moody is averaging 4.4 points on 43% shooting from the floor with 1.5 rebounds in 11.7 minutes per contest.
The Santa Cruz Warriors will meet the South Bay Lakers on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Southern California.
