The Vols improve to 4-0 wearing Tennessee classic uniforms this season.

Tennessee (23-9, 11-7) defeated Ole Miss (12-21, 3-15 SEC), 70-55, Thursday in the second round of the SEC Tournament at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

Josiah-Jordan James led the Vols with 20 points and seven rebounds.

Tennessee trailed by as many as six points in the first half against the Rebels. Ole Miss advanced to play Tennessee after defeating South Carolina in the opening round of the tournament Wednesday.

Santiago Vescovi totaled 15 points, six rebounds and three assists for the Vols, while Olivier Nkamhoua posted nine points, four assists and three rebounds.

Julian Phillips finished with six points and eight rebounds for Tennessee. The Vols will play fourth-seeded Missouri Friday at 3:30 p.m. EST (ESPN) in Friday’s quarterfinals.

Myles Burns led the Rebels with 14 points against Tennessee.

The Vols wore its Tennessee classic uniforms for the fourth time this season Thursday versus Ole Miss. Tennessee is 4-0 in its classic uniforms, recording victories versus Ole Miss, against No. 10 Texas on Jan. 28, No. 1 Alabama on Feb. 15 and Arkansas on Feb. 28.
