The Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports has been released following the 12th week of the 2020 college football season.
The Vols did not receive votes in this week’s poll.
Tennessee (2-5, 2-5 SEC) had an open date Saturday after its matchup with Vanderbilt was postponed.
Tennessee lost at Auburn, 30-17, in Week 9 of a 10-game, SEC-only season. The loss to Auburn extended Tennessee’s losing streak to five games.
UT kicked off the 2020 campaign with wins at South Carolina and against Missouri. The Vols have lost to Georgia, Kentucky, Alabama, Arkansas and Auburn.
The Vols were set to host Texas A&M in the SEC’s Week 8 until the game was postponed due to COVID-19 concerns with the Aggies.
The Vols will play Florida, Vanderbilt and Texas A&M in December. Tennessee returns to action Saturday against Florida at Neyland Stadium.
