Vikings S Anthony Harris ranks 30th on PFF’s top-50 players entering 2020 season

Harris was tied for the league-lead in interceptions before the Vikings put the franchise-tag on him this offseason.

The folks over at Pro Football Focus released its top 50 players entering the 2020 season.

The Vikings had three players on the list with safety Anthony Harris leading the way at No. 30.

Here’s what PFF wrote about Harris, who the Vikings franchise-tagged this offseason:

Anthony Harris has graded well every time we have seen him on the field, dating back to his final college play, and he’s only gotten better with more opportunity. Last season, he was finally a full-time starter for the Vikings alongside Harrison Smith, and he responded with the best coverage grade (91.6) at the position and the second-best overall grade (90.5). Harris has been an All-Pro caliber player and a true ballhawk in Minnesota’s secondary.

You can argue about the importance of the safety position, but Harris and Smith will play huge roles on this team in 2020, especially with a completely overhauled cornerback group.

Also on the list representing the Vikings are Smith and Danielle Hunter.
