Vikings RB Dalvin Cook on injury: ‘I’m good’

Cook ran for 94 yards and two touchdowns to go with three catches for 36 yards in Sunday’s win.

Vikings running back Dalvin Cook didn’t show any signs (besides a wrap on his arm) of the shoulder/chest injury that kept him out for the final two weeks of the 2019 season against the Saints in the wild card round.

He ran for 94 yards and two touchdowns to go with three catches for 36 yards in the win.

Heading into the Divisional Round game against the 49ers, Cook isn’t even thinking about the injury.

“I’m good, everybody on the team’s good,” Cook said via the Pioneer Press. “We’ve got (the) starting lineup that we started with Day 1 going into this game. I’m fine, just to let you all know it’s all about us at this point, it ain’t all about me.”

The Vikings will need Cook to get going early like he did against the Saints to open up the offense and the play-action game for quarterback Kirk Cousins.

He was listed as a full participant in Tuesday’s team walk-through.
