The Vikings won in an ugly fashion against an inferior Lions team.
For Minnesota, a win has to count for something, though. The team notched its record to 2-3 and inched closer to salvaging its season.
Our friends at Touchdown Wire were not impressed with the victory. The team moved down in the outlet’s power rankings this week, going from 22 to 24.

Wojton is right here. Minnesota won in such a way that it’s hard for Vikings fans to take solace in the fact that their team moved in the right direction. However, Minnesota winning on Sunday against Carolina in Week 6 would be more than just a disappointing win — it’d be the kind of victory that sets in place a comeback season.
