Vikings might be facing Case Keenum at quarterback in Week 10 vs. Bills

The Vikings could be in for a Case Keenum revenge game on Sunday

The Minnesota Vikings will be traveling to Buffalo to take on the 6-2 Bills in Week 10. Tipico Sportsbook has Buffalo favored by 7.5 points, but those odds might change due to an injury Bills quarterback Josh Allen suffered on Sunday afternoon against the New York Jets.

Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Allen is expected to be limited in practice this week with an elbow injury.

This isn’t good for Allen, who miss four games in 2018 with a sprained UCL in his right elbow. The surgery to repair a torn UCL is what is commonly referred to as Tommy John surgery and very common in baseball pitchers.

If Allen is unable to suit up against the Vikings, that would give Case Keenum the start. He started most of the 2017 season for Minnesota after injuries to both Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Bradford, and is best known for being the orchestrator of the Minneapolis Miracle with Stefon Diggs, his current teammate in Buffalo.

The Vikings have faced two quarterbacks who formerly played for the franchise — Taylor Heinicke and Teddy Bridgewater — through nine games.
