Vikings 1st round pick Jordan Addison cited for excessive speeding

Addison was cited for going more than double the posted speed limit on I-94 in St. Paul on Thursday morning

The first pick of the Minnesota Vikings draft class of 2023 was a little too eager to show off his speed. First-round wide receiver Jordan Addison was pulled over before the start of Vikings training camp for going well over double the 55 MPH speed limit early Thursday morning.

Addison was reportedly clocked at 140 MPH in his Lamborghini on Interstate 94 in St. Paul. He was charged with both speeding and reckless driving, though he was not arrested at the scene.

Addison, from USC, was the No. 23 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft. He is expected to see extensive action right away in Minnesota.
