Video: What’s next for Demetrious Johnson after ONE Fight Night 10?

A consensus all-time great, Demetrious Johnson has accomplished a lot. Are there still opportunities out there worth his while?

ONE Championship made its long-awaited U.S. debut Friday in Broomfield, Colo. with ONE Fight Night 10.

Atop the card was former UFC flyweight champion and consensus all-time great [autotag]Demetrious Johnson[/autotag] (25-4-1) as he earned a unanimous decision nod in a rubber match and defended his title against Adriano Moraes (20-5).

Fight fans, however, exited the performance with as much uncertainty about Johnson’s future as when they entered. After cryptic allusions to Friday’s event being his final fight, Johnson was noncommittal during his in-cage interview.

Johnson asked the crowd for their opinions and was met with cheers, before he said he’ll have to talk to his wife before he decides what’s next. At a post-fight news conference, Johnson said he plans to also consult legends Georges St-Pierre and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

For Johnson, what should be next? Should he retire a legend who has accomplished so much? Or is there still something out there for him to prove or benefit from?
