Video shows Damar Hamlin walking out for Bills practice to an emotional reception from fans

This was so heartwarming.

After collapsing from a scary cardiac arrest late in the 2023 NFL season, Damar Hamlin didn’t give up football. The young safety had professed he wanted to return to the Buffalo Bills when he was healthy again.

As Buffalo opened its 2023 training camp Wednesday, Hamlin was there with the team, ready to practice and be a football player again for the first time in just about seven months. And a cool new Bills video filmed from Hamlin’s perspective captured the moment he walked out onto the field at St. John Fisher University.

Needless to say: Hamlin received quite a powerful reception from fans.

Phew. Just listen to the crowd roar the moment they see Hamlin approaching. Now that’s special. What an awesome way for Hamlin and the Bills to start their 2023 campaign.
