Everyone wants to fight Manny Pacquiao because of the exposure and money involved.
That means the Filipino icon has unlimited options when it comes to choosing an opponent for his inevitable return to the ring, almost certainly next year.
Among the candidates are two well-established fighters that couldn’t be much different: Errol Spence Jr. and Conor McGregor.
Spence, one of the top boxers pound for pound, would be a monumental challenge for the 42-year-old Pacquiao because of his size and all-around ability. Pacquiao likes challenges.
McGregor, the MMA star, would pose virtually no threat to the boxing star. Remember McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather? That fight would be a means for Pacquiao to cash in on all his years at the pinnacle of boxing.
Who is a better opponent for Pacman?
In this episode of Jabs with Mannix and Mora, courtesy of DAZN, hosts Chris Mannix and Sergio Mora tackle that topic.
