Errol Spence Jr.’s welterweight title defense against Danny Garcia was announced last week.
Spence and Garcia will meet Nov. 21 on pay-per-view. No site has been determined, apparently in part because organizers hold out hope that spectators will be allowed to attend the event amid COVID-19.
Spence will be fighting for the first time since his horrific one-car accident in October, from which he says he has fully recovered.
Garcia is a former 147-pound titleholder but has lost his last two big fights at the weight, close decisions against Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter in world title fights.
Is this Garcia’s best chance to climb to the top of the division given that we don’t know whether the accident will have had long term effects on Spence? Is it Garcia’s last chance?
DAZN commentators Chris Mannix and Sergio Mora discuss that topic in this episode of Jabs with Mannix and Mora.
