Billy Joe Saunders was in talks to become Canelo Alvarez’s next opponent when the coronavirus hit hard in March.
Now the U.K. super middleweight titleholder seems to be near the back of the line among prospective “B” sides for the Mexican star’s next fight, although promoter Eddie Hearn reportedly is still working on Saunders’ behalf.
