Video: Brandon Vera’s top 3 knockouts in ONE Championship

Ahead of his return to action at ONE Infinity 1, check out a hat trick of first-round KOs from heavyweight champion Brandon Vera.

[autotag]Brandon Vera[/autotag]’s ONE Championship record at heavyweight is untouchable, and he’ll look to extend that red-hot form when he returns to action later this summer.

ONE heavyweight champion Vera (16-8) is set to make his return to action against Arjan Bhullar at ONE Infinity 1 in Manila, Philippines, on May 29, where he hopes to continue his devastating run in the Asian promotion’s heaviest division.

Since signing for ONE Championship in 2014, Vera has fought four times as a heavyweight and claimed all four wins by first-round knockout. He made a splash in his debut with a soccer-kick KO of Igor Subora, then captured the heavyweight title in his second appearance with a stunning head-kick KO against Paul Cheng. Then, in his two most recent heavyweight outings, “The Truth” defended his title with first-round knockouts of Hideki Sekine and Mauro Cerilli.

Now, after unsuccessfully attempting to become a two-division champion against reigning middleweight and light heavyweight champ Aung La N Sang, Vera is returning to his natural weight class to take on Canada’s Bhullar (10-1), who picked up a unanimous decision against Cerilli in his promotional debut in October 2019.

ONE Championship has released a highlight reel video showing Vera’s best three KOs so far. Check out his handiwork – and footwork – above to see Vera starch Subora, Cheng and Cerilli in spectacular fashion.
