Victor Wembanyama says he wants to do Dunk Contest, 3-Point Contest

San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama wants to compete in the Dunk Contest and the 3-Point Contest.

From the moment the San Antonio Spurs won the NBA Draft Lottery, their future was made up. They not only won the right to the first overall pick, but they also won the right to select Victor Wembanyama. And despite the fact that the Spurs haven’t been winning many games this season, Wembanyama’s talent is clear as day.

Wembanyama competed in the Rising Stars game on Friday night at 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend, but his team ended up losing. That said, he did give some insight into his potential future plans at All-Star Weekend, revealing that he wants to compete in a couple of different events.

The 20-year-old rookie admitted that competing in the Dunk Contest and 3-Point Contest is something that he’d like to do. (H/t Tomer Azarly of Clutch Points)

“Yeah it’s definitely on my bucket list,” Wembanyama said.

Seeing Wembanyama take part in those activities would certainly be a treat for Spurs (and NBA) fans everywhere.
