Victor Wembanyama drops F-bomb on live TV during All-Star Weekend

San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama dropped an F-bomb on live TV.

The San Antonio Spurs have a star on their hands. It’s the first time since Tim Duncan that the Spurs have a guy capable of bringing a top player in the league on the roster, but it’s different this time. Duncan wasn’t a media darling. He liked to live life behind the scenes. Victor Wembanyama has the personality to dominate NBA media for the next decade.

It’s just his rookie season, and TNT is already inviting him on the broadcast at NBA All-Star Weekend – and he’s not even an All-Star. He was in the Rising Stars Game and the Skills Challenge, so the TNT crew had him on the broadcast to chat. But things went awry.

When Wembanyama was talking about Gregg Popovich, he dropped an F-bomb, drawing laughs from everyone on the desk. (H/t Dan Martin of the New York Post)

“Sometimes he tries to send a message,’’ Wembanyama said. “I remember like two three months into the season, we are in the film in front of everybody, and he goes, ‘What the f–k was that? This is what you were doing since day one.’ So yeah, sometimes he tries to send messages.”

Wembanyama needs to get a bit more used to live television.
