Vegas doesn’t think the Cowboys will beat the Eagles in Week 10

The Cowboys are home underdogs against the Eagles after not winning a game at AT&T Stadium in 2024. Not just the season, the entire calendar. | From @KDDrummondNFL

The Dallas Cowboys find themselves two games under .500 for the first time since 2000. And just like that year, Dallas may be trying to dig their way out from under without Dak Prescott under center. The ninth-year QB injured his hamstring in the Cowboys’ Week 9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, and the expediency of ruling his return out of the question could be an indication that he’s not going to be returning in time for their next showdown.

That just happens to be a return to AT&T Stadium for their first run in with division rival Philadelphia. The Eagles enter the game in stride, winners of four games in a row to sit 6-2, a half game behind surprise NFC East leader Washington. The Cowboys are 3-5 and feeling fortunate the New York Giants exist.

Mix it all together and there aren’t many reasons for the Vegas sharps to have much confidence in the Cowboys earning their first home win since December 30, 2023. The Cowboys open as 6.5-point underdogs in Week 10, according to BetMGM.

Any fan feeling super comfortable about things can wager on the moneyline, which sits at +280 for a Dallas home win, and -350 to bet on the Eagles winning outright.

The over/under is set to 44.5. At this point, it will be interesting to see how much, if at all, the line shifts as Prescott’s status for the game becomes more certain as the week progresses.
