Demko yielded just one goal on 43 shots in a win over the Ottawa Senators Wednesday, and he has allowed just two goals on 79 shots in his past two starts (both wins). G Braden Holtby allowed just one goal on 37 shots last against the Senators Thursday, easily his most impressive showing in a Canucks sweater. Head coach Travis Green is employing a goaltender rotation, and after a rough start it is starting to click.
Hellebuyck is coming off his worst outing of the season, coughing up four goals on 26 shots in a win over the Edmonton Oilers Tuesday. While he has a 3-0-0 record at home, he has posted a 3.31 GAA and .863 SV% in three starts, while going 1-1-0 with a 1.52 GAA and .955 SV% in two road outings. He was 2-0-0 with a 0.50 GAA, .986 SV% and a shutout in two starts against Vancouver last season.

Money line (ML)
The JETS (-130) are a good play on home ice against the .500 Canucks. Yes, Vancouver is on a three-game win streak, but those wins came against the struggling Senators. For whatever reason, Winnipeg has had Vancouver’s number, going 14-2 in the past 16 meetings, including 10-1 in the past 11 meetings in Manitoba. The favorite is also a ridiculous 19-3 over the previous 22 meetings.
Against the spread (ATS)
The JETS -1.5 (+200) are worth a small-unit play with a chance to double up your investment on a team at home. It might take an empty-net goal, but the Jets will get it done. They have also covered the puck line in each of their past three victories.
Over/Under (O/U)
OVER 6.5 (+1-0) is the play. The Over has connected in each of the past three games for the Jets, while cashing in five of the previous seven outings for the Canucks. Look for the Over to connect in this first of eight head-to-head meetings this season.
