Lamonte Turner making waves on the court
Senior point guard Lamonte Turner had quite a night on Monday, passing out 12 assists in a winning effort against the Mocs, marking the second time he has managed the feat this season. His double-dozen dishes were the most since LaMarcus Golden did it in the 1993-94 season. Along with his 17 points, last night’s performance marked just the 24th time a Vols player has recorded a points and assists double-double.
Lamonte Turner is the first @Vol_Hoops player to record 12 or more assists in two games during the same season since LaMarcus Golden (1993-94).
