Vols player making waves in NBA

Former Volunteers power forward Grant Williams has began his debut campaign on a high note. The No. 22 pick of the 2019 NBA draft has proven to be quite an asset for the Boston Celtics, though his efforts are not always seen in the box score.

His teammate Jayson Tatum had the following to say about the rookie.

“Grant Williams really came in and gave us a spark off the bench. Just the stuff he does that doesn’t show up on the stat sheet that really helps our team, he gives us energy and life.”

It is always great to see a member of Vols Nation succeed at the next level. Yet another alumnus who has made Volunteers fans and family proud.
