USC’s Dorian Singer rated by 247Sports analyst as top-70 CFB player for 2023

Dorian Singer joined Caleb Williams in the top 70 from 247Sports analyst and former CFB player Blake Brockermeyer.

The countdown to the start of the 2023 college football season is on. USC is just 10 days from its opening game on August 26 versus San Jose State in the Los Angeles Coliseum. The arrival of a new season means, among other things, national player rankings.

247Sports college football analyst Blake Brockermeyer, a former college football player at the University of Texas, released his preseason rankings of the top 100 players in the country. Caleb Williams was naturally number one. The other Trojan to crack the top 70 was receiver Dorian Singer, the transfer from Arizona who made stacks of great catches last year against USC. Caleb Williams was so struck by Singer’s playmaking prowess that he asked the USC coaches if the Trojans were going to make a move for Singer in the transfer portal.

They did. Singer is really good on his own merit, but with Caleb throwing him the ball, Singer’s upside should rise considerably. Having Lincoln Riley create opportunities for these two playmakers will be something to watch as this season unfolds.
