USC can always use another wide receiver. The latest pass catcher to emerge on the Trojans’ radar screen is 6-foot-2, 174-pound Chris Henry Jr., who is from Withrow High School in Cincinnati. Henry has been offered by USC to be a part of the 2026 class.
Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Texas A&M, Kentucky and West Virginia have also offered the son of former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry.
Henry headlined the 2022 MaxPreps High School Football Freshman All-America Team. He was able to snag 29 receptions for 292 yards and five touchdowns with 16 tackles, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries, at the safety position too.
Having NFL bloodlines never hurts when trying to develop a reputation and identity as a prospect. Henry could provide considerable upside to a future USC receiver corps. It will be fascinating to see who will be USC’s quarterback at that point in time. It’s so far into the future that it’s pointless to speculate. The essential note about all this is that Lincoln Riley does not have a hard time landing quality offensive players in the transfer portal. New USC offensive recruits consistently enter situations where their personnel groupings are talented.
