USC offers 2025 five-star CB Ivan Taylor

Ivan Taylor is the son of an NFL player who was a teammate of Troy Polamalu with the Steelers.

West Orange (Florida) native Ivan Taylor is the top-rated cornerback in the 2025 class and a top-50 overall recruit.

Ivan is the son of former Pittsburgh Steeler cornerback and two-time Super Bowl champion Ike Taylor, a fourth-round draft pick in 2003. His father spent 12 years playing for the Steelers alongside Ryan Clark and Troy Polamalu, amassing more than 500 career tackles and grabbing 14 interceptions.

The 5-foot-11, 160-pound Taylor is rated the No. 31 overall prospect and the No. 1 cornerback in the 247Sports rankings.

Ivan Taylor posted 65 tackles with five tackles for a loss, three interceptions, and eight pass breakups in nine games as a sophomore in 2022.

Taylor holds offers from USC, Pittsburgh, Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Ole Miss, Michigan and many more.

For a USC defense which can use all the help it can get in the secondary, Taylor would be a significant pull. The Trojans have to build quality, depth, and have reinforcements so that they can rotate bodies and thrive in nickel and dime packages when needed.
