U.S. Open caddie documents his ‘horror movie’ experience at a terrible hotel

This might be the worst hotel room in America.

PGA Tour caddie Geno Bonnalie will be on the bag for golfer Joel Dahmen this week at Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, New York – but Bonnalie ran into an issue with his accommodations just before the tournament.

Bonnalie’s Airbnb rental canceled on him, forcing him to spend the night in what might be one of the worst hotels in America. Bonnalie gave a tour of his room – which featured what may have been bullet holes, a curiously bleached rug, and a potentially dangerous broken sink – in a hilarious Twitter video. Several people responded and offered Bonnalie a different place to stay, but he toughed it out for one night.

He gave an early morning update on Tuesday, reporting “minimal itching” and a noxious smell. Fortunately, Bonnalie tweeted that he’ll be switching to a different Airbnb and can escape this hovel.
