Updated Titans Divisional Round matchup scenarios after Wild Card Saturday

The number of possible Divisional Round opponents for the Titans has been whittled down to two.

Going into Wild Card Saturday, the No. 1-seeded Tennessee Titans had four possible opponents they could face in the Divisional Round next weekend, but that number is now down to two.

In the AFC, the Cincinnati Bengals squeaked out a win over the Las Vegas Raiders, 26-19, and the Buffalo Bills crushed the New England Patriots, 47-17.

The only remaining Wild Card game in the AFC is the Pittsburgh Steelers versus the Kansas City Chiefs, a contest that will take place on Sunday, with kickoff set for 7:15 p.m. CST (NBC).

The Titans will face the lowest-remaining seed in the AFC. So, if the Steelers somehow win, Tennessee will meet Pittsburgh in the next round, and Buffalo will host Cincy. If the Chiefs win, the Titans’ opponent will be the Bengals, and Kansas City will host Buffalo.

On Saturday, we ranked Tennessee’s possible Divisional Round opponents from toughest to easiest. The Bengals were at the top of that list, while the Steelers were at the bottom.

Barring a miracle it looks like Tennessee will be hosting Cincinnati at Nissan Stadium next weekend.
