Just a few days ago, Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll interviewed for the Cleveland Browns head coaching gig.
At first, Daboll was given decent odds at landing the job. About middle of the pack. They’ve seemed to dip.
According to SportsLine, of all the candidates interviewed by the Browns, Daboll has the longest odds to land the job.
Those candidates all sit ahead of Daboll, who current sits at +1200 odds behind everyone else, including former Bills defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz. When odds opened up, Schwartz was one of a few candidates that had worse odds than Daboll, but even that has changed.
Here’s the full rundown:
Odds on the next head coach of the Cleveland Browns
Josh McDaniels +200
Kevin Stefanski +350
Robert Saleh +500
Eric Bieniemy +700
Greg Roman +800
Jim Schwartz +1000
Brian Daboll +1200https://t.co/XxskFcG5NA pic.twitter.com/FFg6mlTHZS— SportsLine (@SportsLine) January 9, 2020
Various members of the Bills, including quarterback Josh Allen, have expressed a desire for Daboll to return as the Bills’ offensive coordinator next season. If Daboll’s longshot odds are any indication, Allen & Co. are going to see their wish come true.
