The Eagles are in the thick of the NFC playoff race despite their 33-26 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday and with the Giants’ loss on Sunday night football, three teams are still in the hunt for an NFC playoff birth.

Philadelphia sits 1½ games back of the first-place Washington Football Team with two to play, and they’ll need Washington to lose to Carolina, while also needing the Giants to lose one of the final two games.

With the Eagles’ loss to Arizona, they need to beat Dallas and Washington over the next two weeks and have The Football Team lose to Carolina next Sunday as well.

The Eagles would then need the Giants (Bal, Dal) to lose two of their next two games as well, setting up a potential winner take all scenario in Week 17 against the Washington Football Team.
