Updated Injury Report: Cowboys LB Parsons misses 2nd straight day

The Cowboys saw a defender return to practice, another be added to the injury report and their biggest star miss a 2nd consecutive practice. | From @KDDrummondNFL

There’s no reason to panic, but it is noteworthy that Dallas Cowboys’ linebacker Micah Parsons missed his second straight day of practice on Friday. Nursing a cold the front office has already declared to not be a COVID or flu situation, the do-it-all defender has not been available this week. There was a bit of an actual concern stemming from Sunday’s win against the Cincinnati Bengals, where Parsons was favoring his leg.

The star said that he’s always dealing with pain but he wasn’t injured. Meanwhile, a new starting defender joins the injury list on Friday, three days before the club takes on the New York Giants. That brings the total number of Cowboys on the list to eight, while the Giants stayed stagnant at 11. One Giant, a key receiver, was downgraded on Friday after being listed as limited Thursday.
