Updated Cardinals draft picks after trade with Texans

After the Cardinals traded the No. 3 overall pick, they still have eight selections in the 2023 draft over six rounds.

The Arizona Cardinals traded the No. 3 overall pick in the draft and most expected would happen. However, it was not with the team many expected.

They traded the third pick to the Houston Texans along with their fourth-round selection (No. 105 overall) in exchange for the No. 12 pick, the No. 33 pick (Round 2) and selections in the first and third rounds of the 2024 draft.

With that trade and the trade to settle a tampering investigation, the Cardinals still have eight picks in six round.

Here are the updated selections the Cardinals have:

Arizona Cardinals’ 2023 NFL draft picks

  • Round 1, pick 12 (No. 12 overall)
  • Round 2, pick 2 (No. 33 overall)
  • Round 2, pick 3 (No. 34 overall)
  • Round 3, pick 3 (No. 66 overall)
  • Round 3, pick 33 (No. 96 overall – compensatory)
  • Round 5, pick 33 (No. 168 overall –  compensatory)
  • Round 6, pick 3 (No. 180 overall)
  • Round 6, pick 36 (No. 213 overall – compensatory)
