College basketball fans are eagerly waiting for the calendar to turn from February to March. That’s when the best part of the season happens with conference tournaments leading into the NCAA Tournament.
While there are still some regular season games left on the Big Ten calendar, it’s never too early to check and see where teams are currently seeded in the conference tourney.
Teams who finish the regular season record in the top four of the standings receive a double bye. The five and six seeds receive a single bye and play the winner of the 12 vs. 13 and 11 vs. 14 matchups, respectively.
For teams with the same record, a tie breaker format is used to determine who gets the higher seed.
Here is how everything is currently seeded and what the matchups would be.
