While it’s not out of the question that the Bills bring back at least one of these players, it seems like it’s more of a longshot as the Buffalo has not moved forward with signing players from this group.
Gore started the season as the team’s top running back. The emergence of Devin Singletary pushed Gore down the depth charts. While he did set break some records in a Buffalo uniform (surpassing Barry Sanders for third in all-time rushing yards, breaking the 15,000-yard rushing plateau, moving into seventh on the all-time all-purpose yards rankings), he struggled toward the end of the season.
Perry, Alexander, and Stanford were all reserves who say the majority of their production come on the special teams unit. The Bills have already started to revamp their teams unit with their new free agent signings.
Liuget was a rotational defensive lineman whom the Bills signed in November of last year. He had 10 tackles and one sack in half of a season in Buffalo. Waddle missed last year with a quadriceps injury suffered in August. He spent the entire season on injured reserve.
