The North Carolina men’s lacrosse team has added Jon Thompson to their coaching staff as the new offensive coordinator.
The program announced Friday that Thompson would be joining the team after spending the last three seasons as the offensive coordinator for the Air Force, including some time as the associate head coach. In a press release, head coach Joe Breschi explained what it meant to have Thompson join the team.
“We are excited to welcome Jon and his family to the Carolina Lacrosse community,” said Breschi. “Jon is smart, innovative, and experienced in building a vision for players to play with relentless confidence within the offense. He is an outstanding relationship builder with his athletes, who brings passion and energy both on and off the field, and I’m excited to see the positive impact he has on our young men for years to come.”
We are thrilled to announce the addition of Jon Thompson to our coaching staff!
