UNC is coming off its worse loss of the season, losing to Georgia Tech 21-17 in a game they were favored to win by 21 points. Despite the gut-wrenching loss, North Carolina still finds themselves favored to win this rivalry match due to the Wolf Packs’ struggles in the last two weeks. NC State riding a two-game losing streak failed to beat a 3-7 Boston College team and was dominated 25-10 by Louisville.
Even with both teams scrambling to pick up the pieces of a promising season, the hatred these two teams share is enough to make this game a must-watch. The 6.5- spread is high for two teams who traded shots to one another during the season. However, before the road bump Georgia Tech gave UNC, they were rolling even already clinched their ticket to the ACC championship game.
