North Carolina’s 2025 football recruiting class is currently ranked in the top 50 with 12 commitments including a rising quarterback prospect in Bryce Baker.
The quarterback climbed from a three-star prospect to a four-star prospect and moved into the 247Sports top 247 ranking. That should boost UNC’s class, especially if he continues to improve.
Landing other prospects will also help the class and that includes some big-time targets like wide receiver Malik Clark. The South Carolina native is a four-star prospect that is drawing the interest of a lot of programs including North Carolina.
And earlier this week, he posted a photo on his X (formerly Twitter) account with Baker and Mack Brown, with the caption “What ya’ll think?”. Check it out:

This isn’t a commitment post and Baker did post something similar for other programs including South Carolina. So by no means is his recruitment over.
However, the Tar Heels appear to be in the lead for this top recruit as they hold the crystal ball predictions on 247Sports for Clark as of now. The 6-foot-1, 183-pound Clark is ranked No. 213th nationally, No. 24 wide receiver and No.3 player in the state of South Carolina per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
